Barry MacAlister
Transport and Logistics Manager
Barry brings a wealth of international logistics experience shaped by both military and civilian careers. Born and raised in Germany across a number of British Army barracks, Barry returned to the UK at 17 before joining the Army as a logistics specialist. His service took him across the globe, including postings in Oxford, Kosovo, Cyprus, Cambridge, Germany, Iraq, and Canada, where he developed strong operational, leadership, and supply chain expertise in demanding environments.
Following his military career, Barry transitioned into large-scale logistics operations in Stoke-on-Trent, where he spent nearly a decade refining his skills in fast-paced commercial settings. He now combines that experience with a practical, solutions-focused approach in his current role.
Barry lives in Shropshire with his wife and three daughters, where they have settled and built strong roots. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, photography, and masonry.
