World first for Dairi-Pak

Dairi-Pak is the first packaging company globally to be certified to Issue 7 of BRCGS (Packaging Materials).

This accolade exemplifies Dairi-Pak’s commitment to Best Practice and pushing the boundaries of progress in the UK Sheet Plant Sector. Not only were Dairi-Pak the first packaging company in the World to be certified under Issue 7 - they were awarded a AA rating.

Ahead of the audit, Dairi-Pak attended the BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7 Update course delivered by Amtivo and an Overview of Issue 7 delivered by the UK Sheet Plant Association, hence gaining a clear understanding of how to manage the new requirements. Updating their systems early gave an opportunity to strengthen their processes - a challenge they tackled with real enthusiasm and professionalism.

Their Managing Director, Tim Gray, commented: “BRCGS certification has been a real asset to our business, giving customers added confidence in the quality and reliability of our products and processes.”

The audit itself went extremely well, with the auditor remarking: “The team’s preparation was exceptional, and their commitment to maintaining high standards under the new Issue 7 requirements was evident throughout.”
