Dairi-Pak sponsored Mountain Bike Challenge - 13th May
Dairi-Pak have sponsored this 22 mile off-road mountain bike challenge since its inception in 1994... This year (after a 15 year absence) Tim Gray, Dairi-Pak's Managing Director will be attempting the ride. Commenting on the challenge ahead Tim says "It was a challenge all those years ago, so I've been training hard and am looking forward to the challenge." With the aim of increasing the appeal and scope of the ride the Dairi-Pak Mountain Bike Challenge has been rebranded and additional sponsors now support the ride. So the newly named Borderland Mountain Bike Challenge will be held on Saturday 13th May and all money raised will go to Midlands Air Ambulance and other local charities. If you'd like to ride or support the event please go to the event website
The Borderland Mountain Bike Challenge 2023 will be held on Saturday May 13th, 2023, and start, as usual, from Rhywlas Village Hall at 10am.
You’ll be helping Midlands Air Ambulance.
Remember, all you need is a mountain bike, a helmet, and the heart of a lion/lioness! The ride is 22 miles of hilly off-road terrain and is not for the faint hearted. Dairi-Pak’s Managing Director, Tim Gray is attempting the ride this year and would be delighted to ride with you or receive a donation/sponsorship for this charitable event.
